Stephanie represents employers in a wide range of labour, employment and human rights matters, providing practical, client-focussed and strategic advice in both unionized and non-unionized work environments.
Stephanie has significant expertise in labour relations, and regularly acts for employers before the Labour Relations Board and labour arbitrators in various matters, including collective agreement interpretation disputes, discipline/termination matters, and issues arising from labour disputes.
Stephanie’s practice also involves assisting clients in employment and human rights matters. She regularly represents employers in wrongful dismissal actions and Human Rights Tribunal matters, and is experienced in advising employers on hiring and termination, disciplinary matters, workplace policies, employment agreements, post-employment competition, bullying/harassment investigations, and the duty to accommodate.
Stephanie is an active member of the legal community and is Co-Chair of the Human Rights Section of the Canadian Bar Association in BC.
