Bruce Tattrie, partner, is a member of the Securities and Technology Business Unit and the Technology and Intellectual Property Practice Group. Bruce practises corporate / commercial law, with an emphasis on information technology (IT) transactions and other commercial transactions involving technology companies.

Bruce is recognized by Lexpert as a leading practitioner in Computer & IT Law, by Best Lawyers as one of Vancouver's leading IT lawyers, and by Who’s Who Legal as one of Canada’s leading Internet and ecommerce lawyers. Bruce has worked closely with clients in preparing and negotiating various technology-related transactions, including outsourcing, licensing, distribution, technology transfer, strategic alliance and ecommerce related transactions.

Bruce also provides commercial and transactional advice to clients in the transportation, banking, wireless and health care industries.

In addition, Bruce also has extensive experience representing clients on transactions involving telecommunications infrastructure and capacity, the acquisition, construction and disposition of fiber optic networks, grants of irrevocable rights of use and capacity, and the acquisition of underlying rights for telecommunications networks.

Bruce is on the steering committee of the firm's national Technology and Intellectual Property practice group, and is the manager of the Vancouver office's Securities and Technology Business Unit.
