Rose is an associate in the Real Estate practice group and specializes in real estate law.
She works as a trusted advisor to both real estate developers and investors, in all matters of real estate investments and transactions. Her practice covers a broad range of real estate matters including:
- Acquisitions and dispositions,
- Real property financings and leasing
- Investment properties and joint ventures
- Development, land use, municipal law, rezoning & subdivision
Fluent in Mandarin, Rose works with international cross-border and domestic clients in a wide range of real estate affairs.
Prior to entering law school, Rose worked at the Bank of Canada as a research assistant, where she focused on macroeconomic monitoring and analysis of emerging markets. During her undergraduate degree, Rose was President of the Economics Students Association and Valedictorian of her class. She was also the recipient of the W. H. MacInnes Memorial Scholarship, Trek Excellence Scholarships and the John Young Memorial Prize in Economics.
In her free time, Rose enjoys painting, photography and travelling.
