Mariko is an Associate in the firm’s Business Law section, and is engaged in a diverse corporate/commercial practice.

Mariko is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School. Following her first year of law school, Mariko participated in an Exchange Program in Mediation at the Bucerius Law School in Hamburg, Germany. During law school Mariko volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, the Osgoode Women’s Network, and as a Dean’s Tutor for JD students and as a Peer Support Tutor for LLM students. Mariko was the recipient of the Dominic Carinci Memorial Prize, the Carl Orbach Q.C. Prize, the Justice M.M. Van Camp Prize and graduated in the top 8% of her class.

Mariko summered at the Firm in 2014 and was seconded to Bell Media Inc. Mariko articled at the firm in 2015/2016 and joined as an associate in 2016.
